Funerals
The
Funeral; or Memorial Service, celebrates and remembers all that has been
sacred in the life of the one who has passed away.
In these times of grief, many things are not
always clear.
The Parish is able to
help organise funerals in
conjunction with undertakers.
The Memorial Service can be at the Church, or in
a suitable venue as arranged.
The Parish has resources to help you
plan for the funeral; taking the stress off your family. If
required, ask for a copy. The Vicar or lay readers will talk with you about this special ministry.
Each year in the first weekend of November, the feast of All Saints and
All Souls is commemorated. At this feast, all the faithful are remembered in
prayer. People who have experienced bereavement during the year are invited to
the Parish for this service.
