The
Anglican Outback Fund was established by the
General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia in
1985 as the National Home Mission Fund.
It depends entirely
on donations from dioceses, parishes and individuals to
fund important ministries such as those it is supporting
in 2008.
The fund guarantees
that at least 95 cents in every dollar donated will go
direct to the ministries, because the Fund keeps its
costs to the bare minimum.
It has no paid
officers, no employees, and its members pay their own
way when they attend meetings. |
